Hi, I’m Jeremy Krygsman. My hometown is Guelph, Ontario and I’m currently studying at the University of Waterloo (UW)’s School of City Planning. To put it simply, I love it. Planning has gone from a pass-time to a passion for me at UW.
I would like to thank Judy Mantel, a longtime family friend, for starting inciting this passion way back in the day, when she gave me a floppy disk with the original SimCity on it. I graduated through all the versions of SimCity, and often immersed in building the perfect city in SimCity 4. I have always been interested in buildings, transit systems, trains, and generally any urban system. One of my other interests when I was a little younger was designing houses, enough that I actually applied to UW’s Architecture program alongside Planning. Additionally, I do a little web design on the side, and I really like mountain biking.
I would also like to thank my wonderful wife, Seychelle, for always supporting me and giving me excellent advice and feedback.
Please enjoy my blog, and may my ideas be food for thought!
